My background with college riding is extensive, having coached for a total of 16 years. I was a member of the University of South Carolina IHSA equestrian team for three years and served as Captain my senior year. When I graduated, I had the opportunity to coach at Fresno State University, Auburn University, and then landed at my alma mater for  14 years. I watched the program at South Carolina evolve into the first-class NCEA Division 1 team it is today. 

 

During my time at South Carolina, I coached our western team to help win three back-to-back SEC Champion titles in 2012, 2013, and 2014. We also won two National Championships in 2007 and 2015. I was fortunate to coach amazing students.  Many were named to the First Team All-American Team and SEC Riders of the Year, and I'm thankful for these relationships.

 

Although I coached Horsemanship and Reining on a daily basis, I was actively involved in the process of recruiting all events. I was able to create and maintain relationships with all the prospects and athletes from year to year.

 

I pride myself in developing and nurturing positive relationships. During my 16 years of coaching I learned how and where prospects fit best.  I am confident in my ability to prepare you for the next level by providing you with superior guidance. The bottom line is that coaches are busy, but we will break through the noise.
